Summer 2008 Membership Schedule

Returning 2007 Summer members:
    In order to secure your spot in the MGH for the 2008 season, Jeff needs a $600 deposit from you in hand by the end of the previous summer season. 

New members:
1. Deposit - $600
    We start recruiting new members at the end of the 2007 summer season.  If you wish to be a new member, please send us an email
    Full payment for MGH Summer 2008 is welcome at any time.  Final payment due a month before Memorial Day.
    If a members deposit is not received before the end of the previous summer season you forfeit your ability to have a secured spot for next summer season.

2. Share Requests
    Along with your deposit, you will need to include whether you want to be a full share [Purple share] or a half-share [green or yellow] 
    The MGH calendar for 2008 is now posted on the web site. Please note that the dates of all events on the schedule are a guess on our part. 
    They are not set in stone and are subject to change. The sooner you send in your deposit the sooner you can lock in your desired share choice.
    Share choices are on first come first service basis.
 
3. Upgrades 
    Anyone wishing to upgrade from a half share to a full share will have the ability to do so assuming space is available. 

4. Payments
    A deposit of $600 will hold a share for the summer
    If paid in full by MARCH 1, 2008 - The house will be open to that Member at no additional cost starting Starboard opening.  [No Member Guest Fees]

5. MGH House Summer Opening
    The MGH opens its doors on May 23, 2008 for all members.  Earlier If you Prepay.  See Preseason opening.

6. MGH House Preseason Opening
    The MGH opens its doors on March 13, 2008 for all members that have prepaid to coincide with Starboard Opening.
    All Members paid in full by March 1, 2008 will be considered prepaid.  
    They will have the ability to begin enjoying the house Starboard Opening weekend.  

    If you are not paid in full by March 1, 2008, you ARE NOT considered a full member and will be required to pay Alumni Guest fees.
    GUEST FEES WILL NOT BE APPLIED TO ANY OUTSTANDING BALANCE
    Failure to pay in full by March 1, 2008 also puts your spot and any monies paid to the MGH in jeopardy. 

MGH WILL ONLY REFUND MONEY IF A SUITABLE REPLACEMENT MEMBER IS FOUND BY THE UNPAID MEMBER AND THE REPLACEMENT MEMBER PAYS IN FULL, OTHERWISE FAILURE TO PAY IN FULL BY MARCH 1, 2007 WILL RESULT IN A LOSS OF ANY MONIES PAID. 

7. Private Rooms
Private rooms are only available to full shares members:
    The cost for a Private room [based on double occupancy] would be $1850 per person / 2 per room.
    The Private room would be yours for the summer weekends and mid-weeks [if not rented].
    The Private room would not be used by other member when you are not there.
    The Private room is to be kept clean like the rest of the house.
    Guests staying in the Private room must still be approved by the house coordinator.  see Guesting
        
           
8. Other options for Members
    Half Share Members can guest during their off weekends if the house is not full. [ $60 whether it is Fri & Sat or just one night]
    There is no charge for any member to stay at the house Sunday thru Monday when the house is not rented.
    Members can rent the house with their friends and family during the midweek at the reduced rate of $900.  
    A deposit of $500 will hold the dates requested, remaining $400 due 30 days before rental.
        [ no security deposit is required, Member must be there during the rental period ]
   

9. Members will receive $50 commission:
    If they refer a New Mid-Week Renter that is accepted by the house.
    If they refer a New Member that is accepted by the house.
